The short answer

Ordering frozen smoothies online works, but the deal you are really making is about the doorstep. Shake Please packages every box to stay frozen until the moment of delivery, and from that moment the product is legally your responsibility. If someone is home to bring the box in and freeze the cups, the model works well. If the box sits on a porch through a summer afternoon, their terms do not promise you a refund. Almost everything else worth knowing about this store follows from that one fact.

How the box actually arrives

Shake Please ships through a third party courier, with tracking emailed once the order is on its way. The cups arrive pre portioned and ready to blend. Their delivery terms are unusually specific about the handover: you are responsible for inspecting the delivery, confirming the cups are still frozen, and moving them into a freezer at zero degrees Fahrenheit or below straight away. From there the company points you at USDA guidance on frozen food storage and safety.

One thing their published policies do not specify is the insulation method. There is no promise of dry ice, no stated number of safe hours in transit or on the porch. So do not plan around a melt window that does not exist in writing. Treat the delivery like groceries you did not have to drive for: watch the tracking, and bring the box in promptly on the day.

What happens if it thaws

There is no automatic melt refund in their policy. Refunds are handled on an individual basis through [email protected], and the returns section is blunt: because the product is perishable food, returns and exchanges are not offered at all. What you can do is document. Their damages policy asks you to inspect every order on arrival and contact them immediately if anything is defective, damaged or wrong. If cups arrive soft, photograph them in the open box straight away and email the same day. A problem reported at delivery reads very differently from one reported three days later, and with a perishable product the timestamp is most of the evidence.

The bulk box maths

At the listed cup price of 9.99 dollars, the current bulk offers move the per cup cost meaningfully. A 16 smoothie order takes 10 dollars off, which works out around 9.37 a cup. A 24 smoothie order takes 20 dollars off and adds 2 free smoothies, which comes to 219.76 dollars for 26 cups, or about 8.45 a cup. The bigger box wins by nearly a dollar a cup. The catch is not price but volume: 26 cups need real freezer space at zero degrees Fahrenheit or below, and that is worth measuring before you order rather than after the box arrives.
