Privacy Policy

WeVouchers is a coupon site. You don't need an account to use it, and we'd rather collect as little about you as possible. This page explains exactly what we do collect and why.
What we collect
When you click an offer, we record that a click happened: which offer, the time, the page you came from, and your browser type. Your IP address is scrambled (hashed) before it is stored, and the scrambled version cannot be turned back into your address. We use this to see which offers people actually find useful and to catch abuse.
If you write to us through the contact form, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply. That's what they are used for, nothing else.
Email newsletter
If you sign up through the box in our footer, we store the email address you enter, and nothing else, so we can send you our weekly deals email. When you first subscribe we send one short welcome email to confirm you are on the list. Your address is kept in our own system on our own server: we do not hand it to any outside mailing service, and we never sell, rent or share it.
We keep your address until you ask us to remove it. You can unsubscribe at any time: reply to any email we send, or ask through the contact page (choose "Privacy or data request"), and we will delete your address from the list.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for or store payment details, addresses, birthdays, or passwords. There are no user accounts. We don't sell or rent any information to anyone.
Cookies and affiliate tracking
When you click through to a store, the store or its affiliate network may set cookies in your browser. Those cookies are what let the store know your visit came from us, which is how we earn commission (see our affiliate disclosure). Those cookies belong to the store and its network, and their privacy policies apply to them. We also use basic analytics to understand which of our pages are useful.
Links to other sites
Most links on WeVouchers lead to external stores. Once you leave our site, their privacy practices apply, not ours. We choose reputable stores but we can't control what they do with your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under GDPR in the EU and the CCPA in California, you may have the right to see or delete data held about you. Because we store almost nothing identifying, there is usually nothing to find. But if you want to check, ask us through the contact page (choose "Privacy or data request") and we'll handle it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will be flagged on the homepage.
